Iveta Hylasová Bachmannová (English horn and oboe soloist), born in Košice, studied oboe at the conservatory in her hometown with prof. Štefana Sklenka, then she continued her studies at the Prague AMU with Doc. Ludmila Ježová. She completed summer music courses with prof. Maurice Borgue and Jean Louis Capezzali. She won several competitions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where she won, among other things, the prize of the Czech Music Fund for the best interpretation of a contemporary composer.
